As chamber musician she played with artists such as Reinhold Friedrich, Leif Karlsson, Laurens Patzlaff, the members of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonics. With her rich and varied repertoire for all instruments of the recorder family she engages listeners and is widely recognized as an accomplished virtuoso: she has already been featured on television with a live interview on SWR Southwest Broadcasting and has performed for the Swedish Royal Family. She has performed in concert and recorded in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, the USA and Canada. She is the recipient of a double scholarship from the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service. Kristina Schoch is an award winner of several competitions, including the German “Jugend musiziert”, as a finalist in both recorder and piano. In the recorder, I have found a personal expression to bring my creativity and the joy of making music alive. I was fascinated by its vast range of sounds and inspired by its power of brilliance. From the first moment I held the instrument in my hands, I felt connected to it in an emotional sense.

By mixing different techniques, I play on their qualities in order to express, in a new way, my search for truth, for another reality that is hidden behind the veil of a first vision, a first impression.
Gestural and impulsive, my painting tends more and more to structure itself. It is also based on the play and harmony of colors used to express feelings and the joy of living. My research in my works is that of a material which vibrates and which transmits the emotion felt, observed, of a moving material whose lines of force and dynamics express life and action.
